1996 Aston Martin Vantage Shooting Brake at Bonham’s Aston Martin Sale – Newport Pagnell, UK

Bonham’s Aston Martin Sale

This is about as rare as station wagons “shooting brakes” get. One of three built by the Aston Martin Works department in the last days of the true Aston Martins before they became just nicer Jaguars.

Packing the venerable Tadek Marek-designed, 330hp 5.3 litre V8 and an automatic transmission, this is much closer to a British muscle car than the lithe sporting GTs of Sean Connery’s James Bond.

This car will be offered at Bonham’s May 13th Aston Martin sale at Newport Pagnell, and is estimated to reach $390-450k. Which is a bargain for a three-off, coachbuilt Aston Martin.
